Alia Monieb joined the firm in 2012. Her practice focuses mainly on mergers and acquisitions and related matters. Alia has experience in conducting legal due diligence on various types of companies including telecommunication, investment companies, brokerage, and holding companies.
Alia also participates in the banking and finance work including the drafting of loans and conducting due diligence related to project finance. She also researches matters related to securities and collaterals. She participates in drafting and reviewing finance agreements and security documents including real estate and fonds de commerce mortgages as well as share pledges.
Alia graduated from the Faculty of Law – Ain Shams University (French Section) in 2010. Immediately thereafter, Alia got enrolled in the Master (M2) program of the IDAI, University Paris 1 Pantheon – Sorbonne and obtained her Master II in International Business Law in 2011.
Prior to joining I&P, Alia received a four months training in the Economic Court of Cairo. She also utilized her summer vacations during her study to get trained in leading law firms and banks.
